  • This Man Named Me

I feel I’m out of place

I guess I’m running out of space

    To flex my conscious muscles

Why do I have to tussle

    With egos and insecurities

    Making me portray an image

    Changing like a chameleon

    Living life as a gimmick

    Can you really understand

This shell that they call a man

    Personalities flip

    And slip through mental quicksand

    So conscious I must remain

    Never once losing sight

    A distinctive dazzling demeanor

Just hold me up to the light
