You can sort through inmates by a number of different options. By name, age, state, race, gender, religion, death row, life sentence, etc...

To do so, just click the "Inmates" link in the main links bar above. Then on the left side under "Member Type" select "Prisoners" from the dropdown menu. Then you will see all the sort filters. Fill in whatever you want. The more you put in, the more selective it gets.

We have noticed, you can't hit "Return" or "Enter" to make it search. You must click the "Search" button at the bottom to make it go.

California has a new inmate locator service on their website. You need the inmates last name and DOC#.

We have made an enhancement similar to Facebook on how you can search prisoners. Using the search bar you can now see members appearing as you begin to type in their name. Check out the screen shot. 

We have also sorted the "Inmates" section now we are you can find inmates easier. We have already seperated them by, newest, male, female, by state, gay, lesbian, bisexual, life sentence, death row, and if they have Corrlinks.

We hope these improvements help make it easier for you to find the person you are looking for.

Nikkia, all you need to do is call RECORDS at High Desert State Prison. You will need the inmate first and last name and I know they asked me for his inmate number (which I had) but it is possible they might be able to locate the inmate in their system without that number, so you should try either way.

Dial (530) 251-5100, then press 1 then 2 then 1

The lady who answered the phone was pleasant to deal with, so with a little luck she will be willing to dig a bit if you don't have his inmate number.
