My name is Ron and I'm from Washington, DC. I like to pass a lot of time reading. I love music of all kinds. I also like to watch TV and write. I always enjoy meeting new people. Especially ones that I can learn something from. I believe everyone has something positive to give. I also love watching and playing sports. I have a good sense of humor and like to have fun but I'm also a very serious minded person when the time calls for me to be. I consider myself to be an honest and sincere, open-minded person. I am a good listener and consider myself to be a true friend to those I consider my friends. I know how to value and appreciate a real friend.
Simply because I'm in the current situation I'm in doesn't make me a bad person. It just means that I'm a person that has made some bad choices in my life and am currently paying for my mistakes by being incarcerated. As time goes by you will see that I am a good friend to have and I hope you will be the same to me. Since being here I've tried to better myself. I've taken some college classes to try to do something positive for myself before the college program was stopped. I still plan to take more classes on my own through correspondence courses. The more I learn, the better prepared I'll be when I am released.
