Profile

  • My name is Marcus A. Bedford Jr., I like to think of myself as a constantly evolving person, but not in a creepy kind of mutant way -- *smile*. Since I’ve been in prison for awhile now, I would really like to experience this social media with as many out-going people as I can to share a few laughs, a few stories, and ideas.

I’ve turned two of my hobbies (writing and drawing comics) into fledgling opportunities that I’m hoping this outlet can be the wind under my fettered sails I need to transcend the impossible. The book I wrote is called "Niggerable Offense: Are you a Violator?" Check out PrisonInmates.com's classified section for more details. It’s not what you think, and more than you could imagine. I draw prison comics for free in a few non-profit prison reform advocacy groups newsletters, because serious information needs to crack a smile from time to time, too.

The two happiest days I’ve had in prison was the birth of my nieces and holding them for the first time. Family is very important to me, I value it like I do true friendship. *Priceless!*

My goals are to put out a couple more books on a variety of topics and continue to grow as a person even with being surrounded by concrete and dim artificial lighting.

People that are creative, honest about what they believe, and open to coincidence that may seem random but interested in finding out. Why? Those are just a few characteristics that I believe leads to lasting friendships and relationships. As I bring this to a close, the fact is not lost on me that this is like a resume - but for Friends. *Smile.*
