My name is Allen,

In 2005, I retired honorably after 20+ years of service. However due to many years of exposure to severe life and death combat like experiences I suffered untreated severe post traumatic stress disorder. I was however no harm to anyone, nor myself.

In 2006, what was suppose to been a quick trip to a store, I was attacked & beseiged enroute by unknown stranger in a vehicle, thinking it was a robbery. I attempted to leave but was at 1st blocked by them, they then chased and followed me for 3/4 of a mile, tailgating me all the way into a small mall parking lot. By that time I was in utter fear for my life and safety, thinking I will now get seriously hurt by these strangers, of which one did confront me in a very threatening attack maneuver as reaching behind himself to draw a weapon. I drew my licensed pistol opened fire and fled the scene still in shock and feared further attack by unknown number of assailants. I really had no idea how many were involved.

I was in a deep state of shock, with memory lost and heavily medicated throughout my pretrial detention, which left me unable to detail what exactly happened that day and not fully lucid to decide the fate of my own legal defense. The very attorneys I trusted misguided me into taking a plea which wasn't my choice.

By the time my psychiatric medications were reduced and I came out of my deep mental shock and memory lost I awoke Upstate New York prison, wondering what happened to me?
